Berry Picking

One of the hardest things to find in the urban/city is strawberries with stems for a reasonable price. Why the local megamart seems to feel that leaving the stem long (requiring less work) should fetch a premium is beyond me. And beyond Judy down at the Cottle Farms U-Pick.

For the eminently reasonable price of 4 dollah she let me take home 5 pounds of berries in this lovely cheap plastic commemorative bucket. The only catch?
Well, working in the Georgia fields does drudge up certain unwelcome geist.

Also, pretty decent Tomatoes were 3 for a dollar.
