I have been slaggng off AT&T a lot on Twitter while I go through this unreasonably complex process of upgrading but they have done some things right – against my expectations. That’s not jokey, though, so I’ll put them here instead of Twitter.
First, they now let you disable text messages. That was not an option with my current iPhone and like so many things I wanted AT&T to do, I had to trick them into it. No more; yay.
Second, I use very few minutes on my plan and since the pre-pay deals in money, not minutes, I was rolling over money each month. Eventually I maxed out my rollover amount. They said they are going to move over the balance left on my prepay account ($230+).
