Your Argfest 2008 Wardrobe

On a side note, a lot of people had been asking/inquiring about my t-shirts. Most of me t-shirts come from threadless, an online design competition where people can submit designs to be judged by the community and possibly printed. They feed my need for ironic and bear-related clothing quite well. I saw no fewer than 5 other threadless shirts so it seems popular in the ARG community. Still if you don’t know it and I said I’d get you the link, or you were curious here they are: (And they are on sale right now)

Super-Link entry: Beatles and balls, Brokebacks and bunks, booms and balls (again).

Oh, that’s right. I have a journal. Sorry. All hail the godsend of RSS, eh? Boy, you’re gonna blow my mind. Speaking of people doing amazing stuff. With all of the science scandal going around, you need an easy to use critiquing system. Oh, obvious parodies, (or non-obvious) I wish I knew how to quit [...]

Gimme, gimme, make it recharge independently, gimme

Ugobe / Pleo: Pleo is a one-week old infant Camarasaurus from the Jurassic period. Camarasaurus were born and raised in giant fern forests. They evolved camouflage that allowed them to blend with their environment of ferns, moss and ruff, the detritus that littered the forest floor. The first Pleo created is a Fernback. His markings [...]

I guess he finally finished getting ready

Since he is entirely free of such modern trappings as a RSS feed and an “archive” I feel it important to alert the readership when the hilarious Michael J Nelson updates his blog. Where else will you learn about the American single-by-choice bears movement? Artisinal, the lowest-tech news reader in existence.

Dear nobody in particular

Letters from Jennie…: Praise God that He does work all things together for our good! He brought several wonderful friends into my life who led me out of my cynicism and finally helped me to see that I had been completely duped by Christian feminism. By the time I came back around to a biblical [...]

Bickering on the half shell

As has been previously mentioned, Kurt and I like to argue on public forums for the entertainment of ourselves and others. I’m saving this one because I like it and because I do not trust the technical proficiency of the person responsible for the forum on which it was created.

GA Bar ICLE Tech Law Seminar – Morning

I’m spending today at the 20th annual Bar of georgia Technology Law Institute.  Rather than listen mindlessly as people fumble over describing how P2P networking works I have decided I will do a live journal update for the conference.  Considering the number of viewers I have, live does not need to be live; since the [...]

Bienvinededos! ¿Tú Gusta Parkfürer?

Ok I have a blog. Now you people who keep saying “you should have a blog!” and “Why don’t you have a blog?” can stop saying that. (as the first of many asides, I want to point out that the vast majority of the afore quoted people already knew I had a semi-fictional blog; the [...]

Flickr Feed

I’ve added the bit of geist to the sidebar as a place for photos that don’t deserve a whole entry. The other cool thing is that I can upload these photos directly from the phone so you stalker types can see what I see every day. Up to 10 MB a month anyway. . .

Because he has no Archive and I do

From AB’s Blog: Sunday, July 18, 2004 I just saw the movie ?Supersize Me? and I have to say that I liked it. It was fun, irreverent film making on a shoestring and it?s good to know that filmmakers can still pull that sort of thing off. What shocked me about the movie wasn?t what [...]
